A lesson teaches one function. A project hands you a worksheet and a list of questions a manager would actually ask, and you answer all 19 of them with formulas rather than by reading numbers off the screen.
Every project uses original synthetic data. There are 4 projects: 1 free to start and 3 included with course access. Question wording below is the wording you meet in the workspace.
What a project asks of you
Each project gives you a fixed sheet and a sequence of questions. The questions deliberately escalate: the first asks for one total, and later ones ask which row is the worst, how many broke a rule, or what a subset adds up to. That escalation is the point, because a single lookup rarely arrives alone at work.
Read the sheet and note which column holds the quantity and which holds the money.
Write one formula that answers the question in the cell it belongs in.
Check the result against the source rows before moving to the next question.
Re-answer a changed version of the same question so the answer cannot be memorised.

Build a regional sales report
Free
Three regions, two products, four quarters.
4 questions
What did North sell in total across all four quarters?
How many rows are North?
What is the single best quarter figure in the sheet?
What did Desks sell in total, across every region?
The 4 projects sit after the lessons that teach their skills. If a project question looks unfamiliar, the matching lesson guide explains the function on its own with a worked example, and all 92 lesson guides are indexed by skill. For a longer walkthrough of a single business task, the applied guides combine several skills on one problem with complete worked answers.
