Privacy policy

Information we use

• Account details. When you choose Google sign-in, Google provides an account identifier, your verified email address and your name. We use these to identify your account and let you return to saved progress. For email sign-in, we use your email address to send a one-time code and identify your account.
• Practice and progress. Your browser can store your progress and where you left off. When you sign in, exercise attempts are sent to our server for checking and your account may contain completed exercises, dates, points and streaks. A queued attempt may be checked after sign-in.
• Messages. If you contact us, we receive your message and any name or reply email you provide. Messages sent from a lesson may include its lesson and exercise context. Worksheet entries are not automatically included in a support message.
• Purchases. Stripe handles checkout and collects billing and payment details directly. We receive purchase, customer and payment-status information to provide access, manage billing and help with support. We do not need your card number in a support message.
• Technical information. Our service and infrastructure providers may process request information such as your IP address, browser and device details to deliver and protect the site, troubleshoot problems and prevent abuse.

How we use information

We use information to sign you in, save and check your practice, provide purchased access, answer messages, operate and secure the service, and meet applicable obligations. If you choose to join community rankings, your display name and graded activity can be visible to other learners. You can turn this off in your account settings.

Google sign-in

We request your Google account identifier, verified email address and name for authentication and account features. We store these account details with your practice progress. If you choose to join rankings, your name may appear there. If you start checkout while signed in, we may pass your account email to Stripe to help connect your purchase to your account.

We do not sell Google user data or use it for targeted advertising. Google handles its sign-in service under Google’s privacy policy.

Cookies and browser storage

We use browser storage for local progress and resuming practice. Account and checkout flows use cookies to maintain a session and protect sign-in and purchase verification. Clearing browser data may remove progress saved only on that device.

When information is shared

We use service providers to operate Excel Practice. Google provides Google sign-in, Stripe provides checkout and billing, and email, hosting and security providers help deliver messages and the site. These providers receive the information needed to supply their services. Stripe and Google also process information under their own privacy policies. Information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live, where it may be subject to local laws.

If an AI coaching feature is available and you choose to use it, the task, relevant worksheet data, your answer and your question may be sent to the configured AI provider to produce a response. Avoid entering sensitive information into practice worksheets or coaching questions.

Retention and your choices

We keep account, practice and support information while it is needed to provide and manage the service. Purchase and transaction records may need to be retained for accounting, legal, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes. Copies may remain in backups or provider records for a period after deletion.

You can opt out of community rankings and clear locally saved browser data. To ask about your information or request access, correction or deletion, contact admin@kinorilabs.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You can also disconnect Excel Practice in your Google account settings; disconnecting Google does not by itself delete data already stored by Excel Practice.

Security and changes

We use measures intended to protect information, including secure connections and access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security. If our data practices change, we will update this page and provide any notice or request for consent required by applicable law.
